Think of it like this, a talented musician expresses themselves in the most open and honest way. They get signed and the label start telling the artist that they can't be so open and they need to dumb it down for it to be acceptable to society. your thoughts are like label execs. Projecting your expression through the lens of fear and approval. That artist now doubts their unique expression. Thus the cycle of fear and doubt in ones expression begins. ————————————————
